Mika | Shin Chan: thank you so much for the introduction. Can you briefly describe your project?
Ben Lee: 12 Legions is a turn-based strategy game in which characters are represented by unique NFTs on the blockchain system.
12 Legions represents 12 Lands in the game. We want to create an open world, with fantasy lands, where players can become Lords, ruling their lands. Make rules, resources mine, trading, recruit troops, summon Heroes, and of course, explore & conquer new lands.
With Blockchain and NFT technology, we will make in-game rewards worthy with users’ efforts and make everything more transparent and fair.
In the 1st release, there will be 03 classes WARRIOR, ARCHER and CLERIC, 03 more will come shortly in the next update. We also have plans for more evolved classes in the future. Each character in the game has its appearance, attributes and characteristics. On the on-chain system, they are represented as NFTs and cannot be tampered with.
Players will need to choose the correct game characters and equipment for the gameplay in order to win and earn tokens.
Mika | Shin Chan: Do u have any upcoming news or events that the community need to keep an eye on?
Ben Lee: Yes we have
After our IDO event on all 3 platforms Game Starter, Starter, Starpunk and Listing event on PancakeSwap has been successfully completed, right now we have already released the Alpha Test product, not just a promise. The marketplace and server system is ready for testing on a limited scale (over 5k -10k users).
We’ve added a lot of details and logic elements into the gameplay of the 12 Legions. This will stimulate the creativity and desire of players to conquer.
This will get them involved and the project. This will also be better for long-term development orientation.
We will have specific plans noted in the Roadmap which you can easily find on our website (https://12legions.io/)
But some notable features we can note as follows:
- Completing infrastructure, ready to receive a large number of users. Right now, we’re aiming for 200k Daily Active Users (DAUs).
- Adding PVP and Tournament mode so that players can do more challenges and interact better with friends.
- Adding more Hero classes, more skills (> 240 skills) for users to combine and choose.
- Adding more NFT items, balance item stats, and Heroes.

Q1: I’m interested in your gameplay modes, could you explain the differences between expedition, arena and regions mode? In all modes is it necessary to have 3 heroes or are there special requirements in any of them?
Ben Lee: In expedition mode, once entering the battle, a player is allowed 30 seconds of analysis to choose and max four skill cards before committing to end the turn.
Once every player has taken their turn, that round of play is over. and The system will then process and return the results under the visual & effects of the battle.
In Arena mode, players are allowed to defeat the other’s Heroes. Hence it is recommended for more experienced players.
In regions mode, each player can choose a Region, each village can give an additional bonus after a period of time. In Phase 4 (Roadmap), players can team up and occupy the Region to get an additional bonus by the region called the Region tax.
All modes now need to have at least 3 heroes to play!
Q2: There are a lot of NFT and Metaverse projects going on right now. As a result, market competition must be fierce, and users must be selective when joining new platforms. What are some of the distinguishing characteristics that set #12legions apart from other blockchain-based games?
Ben Lee: Nowadays, there are too many games NFT play-to-earn in the market and most of them don’t have a good balance between entertainment and earning. So we think the most important thing of the NFT game is the in-game economy, this is the 1st priority that we focus on. We want to create a game with a reasonable token-burning mechanism, and players must burn the in-game tokens to become stronger instead of just earning in the game.
In addition, the difference from others is that Heroes in Chaos Of 12 Legions can perform Soul Transmission to create the new Hero inheriting their characteristics and skills. Breeding by using a combination of Hero A & Hero B to create a new NFT Hero by using governance token $CTL & in-game token $POM. A new Hero can be used in battle, soul transmission, or can be traded on our Marketplace.
We are confident that our game can combine two factors: play for fun and play to earn.
In addition, our game has linked gate technology and smart contract optimization so players can easily connect the wallet to the server, claim tokens, or exchange with a minimum gas fee.
Moreover, we are proud of an in-house team, including many talented members with lots of experience. Our team knows exactly what to do best for game players.
And finally, we have a clear Road Map with interesting features that can let users explore and stick with it for a long time.
Q3: Do you really plan to integrate “clans’’ into your game? What will be the purpose of this? How many people will be able to form a clan? Do you mean I will be able to play 12 Legions with my friends?
Ben Lee: Yes, we do.
Players can create their clan to be able to occupy villages and lands with each other and get more resources.
We will reveal more detail when the clan function launches!
Absolutely, you can add friends and play 12 Legions with your friends. More interactions among players will help 12 Legions become a REAL Metaverse game. This will go towards a Metaverse project that we have planned for the end of 2022.
Q4: You said there will be 6 Hero classes in the game. What is the difference between each class and the game? Why does each player need at least 3 Heroes to participate?
Ben Lee: Yes, each Heroes has his/her own story, and special skills for the user to combine in many different ways in battle, even mining resources.
We had a plan to release more classes and evolve from 06 base classes. So, six Heroes classes are just for the beginning, more will come after.
Players need at least 3 Heroes to participate because 12Legions is built as a turn-based strategy game (Not a role-playing game), so we make combination characters as a team to fully show the tactics of each player.
We plan to add two more heroes to the team in the future. The various strategies and experiences of players could be improved.
Q5: What platforms will 12 Legends be available for, can you give us more details about your reward system, are they rewards where we will have to play many hours to see important rewards or how many hours we need to dedicate per day, do we need a PC or a phone to play 12 Legends?
Ben Lee: 12 Legions completely supports mobile (Android, IOS) and also PC, macOS as well.
The first alpha test version has been launched. Right now, we are publishing the full test version of the 12 Legions for Windows, MacOS and Android.
Another excellent news is that the 12 Legions Alpha Test is now open to all participants. Users may access and play the game without filling out a registration form or whitelist anymore.

Players are rewarded with POM tokens when winning in any battle mode. POM is one of 12 Legion’s in-game currencies, and POM is tradable on exchanges like PancakeSwap or Uniswap.
12 Legions is a turn-based strategy game in which characters are represented by unique NFTs on a blockchain system. As the name suggests for the gameplay of the 12 Legions, as players join and defeat their opponents, they gain experience for themselves and can reduce the time it takes to end battles with their methods. We encourage users to engage in various conflicts to develop a strategy that both rewards them with great prizes while also saving them time!

Q6: Why did You thought to name the Project 12 Legions?
What is the significance of 12 in this?
Ben Lee: 12 Legions represents 12 Lands in the game, and each land will be a new challenge for users to explore & conquer.
12 is the number of months in a full year.
We hope 12 Legions will also be a complete combination.
In addition, we started working at the beginning of 2021, and the project has almost finished the 1st phase of development.
But the gameplay is based on the version of 12 Legions that we’d built 16 years ago.
Q7: Partnerships and collaborations are two among the most important pillars for improving implementation. Could you talk us about your present and future collaborators, as well as what everyone intends to benefit from these collaborations?
Ben Lee: Currently, we have strategic partnerships with the following investment funds such as: Kardia Ventures, Lavender Capital, Alpha Moon Capital, Traveler Capital, DCI Capital, Halving Capital, Lambo Capital. And other important partnerships with GameStarter, Kenzo Ventures, Kyros Ventures, X99 Ventures, Hafen Ventures, and some others.
They are all famous venture capitalists in the crypto industry.
In addition, we have cooperated with many partners with big VCs like: Metagaming Guild, SparkPoint, Black Mamba, Shin Chan, Crypto FOMO, LPI DAO, Crypto Tamil, Crypto Arena, Road To Millions, Tradecoin Underground, Starter, Starpunk, Miracle Research, etc.
Especially, we have AlphaTrue, a blockchain business advisory company, is the incubator of 12 Legions. They support us to much in marketing and blockchain technology.
With the support and experience of these partners, 12 Legions will have more manpower and resources to reach more gamers or crypto investors and achieve new milestones in the future. They will support us in both technology and marketing.
Q8: What are the goals you reach so far for example any partnership or insights?
Ben Lee: After our IDO event on all 3 platforms Game Starter, Starter, Starpunk and Listing event on PancakeSwap has been successfully completed, right now we have already released the Alpha Test product, not just a promise. What will be the main Focus point to see in the Alpha test?
Ben Lee: 12 Legions completely supports mobile (Android, IOS) and also PC, macOS as well.
The first alpha test version has been launched.
Right now, we are publishing the full test version of the 12 Legions for Windows, MacOS and Android.

Q10: Is this project will be another a meme token or do you have any plans for long term and what are they?
Ben Lee: Blockchain games will open opportunities for gamers to play for fun and earn profit. Not only gamers but also investors or stakeholders have a chance to invest in potential projects and share the revenue.
If you’re a gamer, you’re in the right place as our project brings various entertainment values. We cannot wait for you to explore 12 Legions!.
We are working on a lot of cool features for every user to monetize & have fun in the 12 Legions ecosystem. Here’s the 03 features that differentiate 12 Legion from its competitors:
1/ MarketPlace — The renting feature will be included in MarketPlace. Non-players can purchase and own Heroes that later can be rented out for money. It’ll usually be a small fee to rent Heroes instead of buying them. This feature allows small investors to rent Heroes to try out the game.
2/ Tournament — Allows players to bet on potential teams or players to make profits.
3/ Invest to become the landowner (Lord) and focus on businesses like tax collecting, and gain more in-game resources from other players in their land.
And one more thing is we have the real working game. Players can experience it very soon.
12 Legions game system includes many detailed parameters and logic. This will pique the curiosity and desire to conquer the game enthusiasts. From here they will become long-term investors of the project. This would be better for the long-term growth of the 12 Legions, rather than just focusing on short-term speculators who joined for financial purposes only.
We have a long-term plan for marketing to expand the community such as AMA activities, contacting KOLs, writing articles on crypto news channels, etc.
As for products, we have completed versions on Android, IOS, Windows, and macOS. Users can experience 12 Legions with a mid-range device because the product has been optimized very effectively.
We will do our best to ensure that 12 Legions players enjoy both the right financial returns and great gaming experiences.
Q11: 12Legion has 12 in-game currency, can you name any currency that can be used in 12Legion game? and can you explain why 12Legion has multiple currencies ? and what is the difference between the 12 currencies?
Ben Lee: In 12 Legions, there are two basic tokens: $CTL (Chaos of Twelve Legions Token) and $POM (Piece of Materials).
$CTL (Chaos of Twelve Legions token) is the token for project management and system development. Players need at the minimum 3 heroes to play the game. Then, $CTL is used to buy Scroll/Blueprint or Heroes/Items in the Marketplace. Scrolls are used to summon Heroes, Blueprints are used to craft Items.
While $POM (Piece of Material) is the in-game token. POM will be automatically minted from the game system to reward players. Players might need to keep $POM for staking in resource mines for mining Materials — Which will be used for crafting items.
These two tokens are supposed to work together since we have many features requiring both of them. For example: Both $CTL & $POM are used for soul transmission to create another NFT (Hero) or upgrade Items.
After researching and accumulating data from a number of GameFi projects, we discovered that separating in-game tokens for rewards and token management will make game balance easier for creators and also reduce inflation. The different token flows between CTL and POM will assist the parameters to become less intertwined, making the computation simpler and more precise.
So we decided to create two mutual tokens instead of just one.
Q12: In the current market, non-crypto and non-English is a huge market and is important to the mainstream. So how does the 12 Legion platform plan to include non-crypto and non-English speakers in your project? Does 12 Legion have a video that can help your multi-language communities and non-crypto?
Ben Lee: This is also our primary concern from the very beginning of the project creation.
We aim to project not only play-to-earn and financial focus. Besides, We also add many entertainment elements and various game features.
In addition, the game is designed in detail with tight logic. This creates curiosity and stimulates the creativity and thinking of players.
Thereby can keep players engaged because of interest in the game. People who join the game with a newfound love of entertainment are long-term investors. And those who are interested in the project only for profit, they will soon leave.
Besides, for non-crypto users, we have prepared very detailed instructions from the most basic steps. Video tutorials are also being improved gradually so that participants can understand the game, how to participate and how to maximize profits.
We have also reached out to gaming communities (Both crypto and non-crypto) to promote the product and seek contributions to improve the product. This is how we reach out to the community and engage non-crypto players.
We understand that language is an essential part of growing a project. So we had a plan to target non-English speaking communities.
First, we plan to integrate multi-language into the game for easy for users to play (will come very soon in the next update)
Secondly, we partner with many KOLs, Youtubers to do game reviews in many different languages.
We create communities that speak different languages. We have specific groups of Community managers from many countries to assist us in communicating and supporting the non-English community.
Q13: What are the compelling factors in the 12 Legion game for players to keep discovering? Can you tell us about the interesting features of the game?
Ben Lee: We are working on a lot of cool features for every user to monetize & have fun in the 12 Legions ecosystem.
Here’s the 03 features:
1/ Marketplace — The renting feature will be included in MarketPlace. Non-players can purchase and own Heroes that later can be rented out for money. It’ll usually be a small fee to rent Heroes instead of buying them. This feature allows small investors to rent Heroes to try out the game.
2/ Tournament — Allows players to bet on potential teams or players to make profits.
3/ Invest to become the landowner (Lord) and focus on businesses like tax collecting, and gain more in-game resources from other players in their land.
Q14: Did you consider community feedback/requests during the creation of your product in order to expand on fresh ideas for your project? Many projects fail because the target audience and clients are not understood. So I’d like to know who your ideal consumer is for your product?
Ben Lee: The community is a very important part of our project!
We want and bring the best valuation to the community and we also love hearing back from your side.
Please feel free to join us via our official channel. Every single feedback will make the 12 Legions become stronger.
Q15: In 12 Legions, there are two basic tokens: $CTL (Chaos of Twelve Legions Token) and $POM (Piece of Materials). Do these two tokens interact? Do you have any features that necessitate the use of both? If that’s the case, why did you opt to make two tokens instead of simply one?
Ben Lee: These two tokens are supposed to work together since we have many features requiring both of them.
