DinoX AMA Summary Recap with Shin Chan Community
We held a live AMA with CEO & Co-Founder, Filip and CTO & Co-Founder, Tomas from DinoX on 24th August 09:00 PM (UTC+8). Here’s the recap for those who missed it.
Introduction
JH | ShinChan: Before the ama start, Can you please introduce yourselves to our community?
Filip: I’m a partner at Metrix Capital, Dubai based VC focused on Gaming, NFTs and DeFi as well as a CEO and Co-founder at DinoX
Tomas: And I’m the Chief Technical Officer at DinoX and a game developer in my heart. I started my journey as a programmer when I was very young. And it just happened that I ended up as a game-developer with the first games being done when I was just 14. So it’s almost 15 years now and throughout those I had a chance to work with big names in the industry in central europe and gathered a lot of know-how and skills. It’s only a question of the last few years (after 2017) that I found myself experimenting with smart contract coding and with the possibility of creating a game that utilizes blockchain.
JH | ShinChan: Can you introduce DinoX to our community in short?
Filip: DinoX is a combat and strategy game in a sandbox environment. A beloved gameplay genre blended with a fan-favorite theme of dinosaurs. Players build dino kingdoms, rally resources to expand, build combative skills to occupy others, and due to the benefits of the metaverse, retain true ownership of the game.
Casual gaming exceeds professional gaming, and is comprised of a global multi-billion dollar market. DinoX creates a familiar childhood theme of dinosaurs into an exciting and adventurous world. The game is playable without any crypto knowledge and is designed for casual gaming from the ground-up.
The metaverse is a fertile ground for speculation and investment in a new era of digital assets. DinoX is pushing the metaverse forward by combining it with gaming, thereby making the massive micro-transaction market in gaming be a source of earnings to metaverse participants.

Q1: On DINOX users can have their own Dinosaurs, but it is known that until now around 700 of Dinosaurs species have been discovered, so I was wondering, how many of them will we be able to find and collect on your game? Will they be categorized in rarity tiers? Can you tell us more?
Tomas: 700 are maybe a strong proved genera of dinosaurs, but we are working with the list of 1243 genera, these are just the beginning of our dnx nfts and they are not going to be all included in generation 0, but slowly added in this 0 generation and all the following ones. So basically all of them at some point in short future. Rarity levels are disconnected from generas though. For example T-Rex can be both common or legendary
Q2: DINOX is a strategy fighting game where users can have different characters and Dinos. Does the game feature arena for the 1v1 fight between two players online? What are the other features that will primarily meet the gaming needs of every gamer?
Tomas: Yes, there will be PvP feature, but we are strongly focused on PvE now as most of “play to earn” features will be there.. otherwise there may be super hard balancing issues and we want to be fair when it comes to rewards and earnings. Although, the PvP, as I said, will be available in Beta and you will be able to challenge your friends or strangers and fight against them in real time.
It’s not easy to please all the gamer archetypes but we are working hard to bring a variety of features into the game, which will be introduced contunially throughout the development of the game in following months and years. Q3: You mention breeding DNX.Could you explain the breeding process and the benefits of raising a DNX egg? Will they be more powerful and valuable as an NFT?
Tomas: Breeding will be done via the thing we call “Breeding tables” which is a list of possibilities of breeding between different generas of dinosaurs. This table will be decided periodically by our govverment
The resulting offspring DNX dino/egg will have features combining the parent dinosaur features, so it can lead to better/stronger dinosaur
And most importantly, they will be extra-unique, meaning that they are going to be only available to get by breeding, no other way
Q4: Three important problems focused on in the crypto industry: Security, scalability and data security are considered. Does your project provide a complete solution to these problems?
Tomas: Security -> audits of contracts and backend services + focus on not having anything even close to dangerous there.
Scalability -> partnerships and services, where the collaboration can help achieving auto-scaling + we are designing architecture, infrastructure and all the features of the ecosystem so that we won’t fall into a scalability issue trap
Data Security -> we are not going to store any important data in-house, and we will use blockchain to maximum extent :)
Q5: How do governance systems work on ecosystems? Who is responsible for managing the system, what is required to qualify for authorization? People have the right to ask about the project?
Filip: Governance will be provided / done through staking in our portal. User will be able to submit topics, ideas, questions and proposals, on which they can vote on depending on the number of DNXC staked

Q7: How do you plan to solove the ETH gas fee on your DinoX, regradless the polygon network?
Tomas: Only eth fees are going to be for dinosaur egg claiming as reward in the game, dinosaur breeding in the game and then dinosaur transfers to different wallets outside of DinoX for example on opensea.. These 3 things are not going to happen every day or even close to often, so I think it will be fine. We believe there will be erc721 bridges in future for different chains, so that would solve it definitely. Other than that, all other transactions will happen on polygon chain, so fees are going to be almost 0.

What roles these assets have in the whole ecosystem?
Filip: DNXC is the main currency / utility token and governance token of the whole game and ecosystem. It’s is used for staking, hatching eggs, breeding and accessing various in game events.
DNX are NFTs — dinosaurs and eggs
DNXI are all the in game items, dino upgrades, complex upgrades, etc.
Q10: DinoX has 3 different tokens. Which coin should I start with to invest and hold for the long term? Where can I get? What are the benefits to the investor?

Q12: Could you explain us a bit about why you require an erc1155 token in the Polygon network? And really what use would it have, that it could not be supplanted by its native erc20 tokens?
Filip: These tokens are on polygon for improved efficiency, they represent various in game assets which ERC20 tokens cannot do
Q13: Before the Alpha Version of your game will be lunched, do you have any plan plan of Making the community, user and players to be able to own the first pieces of their own DinoX in advance?
Tomas: Yes, and it’s already happening, in last 12 hours the first delivery of generation 0 dinosaur eggs for stakers on our portal started and you will see them poping out every day now
Q14: What is the reason you decided to come with an anonymous team? How can we trust you as we saw most of the project with anonymous team members do scam? Will you reveal your identity in future?
Filip: We are not anonymous, have you even checked the Shin Chan AMA announcement? There are our photos 😄

Q15: HOW CAN I HATCH AN EGG?
Tomas: This week we are going to open more features of portal.. dashboard, my collection.. and most importantly, there will be a function to hatch the egg ;) so give us few days, watch for announcements, and you will be able to hatch it if you own one
Q16: I think DINOX is a gaming platform that fights against the blockchain network. Can the games on DINOX be played for free? Do we have to buy Dino characters or use Dino NFT first?
Filip: Yes, we do have a free to play mode in DinoX World however this free to play mode earns you minimal rewards, it is used to onboard users who are not so familiar with blockchain technology and NFTs
Q17: 💭 When will we be able to start playing in Dinox World? Do we need money to register or download the app? What resources are needed to play? On what platforms will it be available and how can we check the status of our dinosaurs?
Tomas: Alpha will be available only for closed group of alpha registered users.. you can get there by using our Alpha staking pool which will be opened soon. Nothing else is needed to play Alpha. And later, the Beta, will be available for all the public and it will be free to play too. You just needed a pc ( first, as we are going to launch on pcs ) or phone device ( later, probably Q1 2022 ) . And best way to check everything will be via our portal
Q18: What is the reason you decided to come with an anonymous team? How can we trust you as we saw most of the project with anonymous team members do scam? Will you reveal your identity in future?

Q19: How does Dinox take care of the game economy? In other words, make them sustainable in the long term and avoid an inflation of your token?
Tomas: We have a set limit of core tokens DNXC, there is no minting or burning going to happen, and it’s on our due diligence to make the ecosystem work in such a way, that there is a nice flow of these and other tokens from users to ecosystem and from ecosystem to users. Only “inflated” token will be DNX, where we will user the breeding tables for breeding dinosaurs which will lead to limited number of dinosaurs ( in comparison to other projects where the NFTs can be in unlimited numbers )
Q20: Regarding the Breeding System, Will the skill set from original dino will be transferred to New Breed of Dino?
Tomas: It will be combined from the parents ;)
Q21: Is the DinoX Ecosystem coming to mobile too?
Tomas: Yes 💪🦕
Q22: If you agree that community is important to DinoX, how important is community to DinoX and how can the community be more involved in DinoX’s decisions and progress?
Tomas: The answer is our governance system that will be coming publicly available before the lunch of Alpha
Q23: Are we going to have dinosaur trainers, customize our avatar and our dinosaurs?
Tomas: Yes 👀 but more will be described and disclosed later in following days/weeks
Q24: Are you afraid some day there will be another project with more innovative technology can replace your project ?
Tomas: Competition helps the innovation.. so it’s the opposite way, it will help us.
