We held a live AMA with CEO, Dav & CTO, YP from Robin DeFi on 26th June 9:00 PM (UTC+8). Here’s the recap for those who missed it.

JH | ShinChan: Before the ama start, can you introduce yourselves and the team background to our community?

YP: I am the CTO short name you can call me YP. I am a programmer from China, and me and my team is a blockchain experience programmer, we helped a lot of china business owner empower their real life business with blockchain tech

Dav: The team behind Robin consists of blockchain programmers from China, India, Russia. We have 6 years of blockchain experience with our engineers fully capable of building our own blockchain, writing smart contracts, programming AI and customized software solutions. Complementing the Technology Team are seasoned advisors from the retail product industry as well as corporate finance, forming a solid technology platform built on sound business foundations.

JH | ShinChan: Can you introduce us about Robin DeFi in short and do you have any news would like to share with our community?

Dav: Robin’s mission is
“BUILDING A VIBRANT & SUSTAINABLE FARMING COMMUNITY THROUGH E-COMMERCE”
And we seek to give our Community Profits, Income and Products.

Robin Defi is a decentralised exchange, similar to Uniswap, built on ETH and Pancakeswap which is built on BSC, Binance Smart Chain. However, instead of the “usual” DEX offerings of Liquidity Pool staking rewards, Robin Defi allows users to stake into transactions of real-world products via our E-commerce as well as digital tokenized products via our NFT marketplace. Each and every transaction will generate Yield and each user will be able to customize their desired APY working within the DeFi’s liquidity pool. With Robin’s unique yield-farming mechanism that marries traditional e-commerce to modern DeFi, our protocols offer lower risk while still allowing users to enjoy high APYs as compared to industry standards.

Q1: I read that Robin’s goal is to be bigger and be a product price exchange indicator for the world. That users can buy products from crypto to fiat. How do u promote Their bin globally , is there a target country.

Dav: Love your “big” question on global perspective. We are launching our Chinese version in China, where the E-commerce market is very progressive. While our International version is launched out of Singapore to the world. You are correct that we hope to become a global price indicator exchange for any product in the world. We make use of Robin DeFi and our native ROB Token to create the liquidity for our “real world” E-commerce platform that allows us to build strong cross-border trade and expand in the fastest possible way.

Q2: Many DEFI platforms on the market do not provide enough transparency to their users and investors. In particular, it is not known how the funds were evaluated. Could you tell us about Robin burial’s approach to “TRANSPARENCY”?

Dav: Transparency is one of Robin DeFi’s key USP. We have full transparency on our Yield Farms as we understand Users’ concerns that in many SWAPS, the calculation of Yield is not made transparent. Robinswap’s Yield is generated from Real World product transactions via our SNAP IT! E-commerce platform. Every online sale transaction’s profit is shared with our Users and of course our Merchants. These transactions are powered by our native ROB Tokens which form our Liquidity pool and managed via Smart Contracts. These Smart Contracts are also linked to our unique AI algorithms in the SNAP IT! E-commerce platform that will generate the Yield via auto farming. What’s more, these transactions are on the Blockchain and for the public to view. In addition, Users have the ability to choose, tweak and finetune parameters within the platform to suit their own preferences of Yield rewards vs Risk.

Q3: one of the key features in Robin is multiplied staking rewards. How can someone get double or more multiplier. Is this long term ?

Dav: Yes Robin does provide multiplier staking programs. You can multiply your earnings via SNAP farming on our E-commerce platform. In addition, we also provide an AI bot to auto SNAP and generate Yield APY automatically for you. These programs are in-built into our systems and is a permanent feature.

Q4: I understand want to create an environment for high Yield crops as well as sustainability. What are the features of Robin ? Does it use AMM model ? Can users do mining on Robin ?

Dav: You hit the nail on the head ! Everyone desires high Yield AND good sustainability. Our model marries the best that DeFi offers with Real World E-commerce/NFT marketplace transactions. Hence we are able to generate good Yields on a sustained basis due to the daily multiple transactions on our marketplace. All transactions are controlled via Smart Contracts and are transparent to Users.
We are able to achieve that via our AMM model. Mining is also achieved via the transactions as Proof of Trade.

Q5: DeFi, NFT, staking and burning are all very popular nowadays. What steps have been taken to advance Robin ? Do u have any killer DeFi features like NFT, stake tokens or yield farms ? Please tell the community more…

Q6: I See That Robinswap will also introduce “Snap It” e-commerce along with the NFT marketplace; Are you planning to expand on these two ideas and how will they help promote the Robin ecosystem?

Dav: SNAP IT is our real world peoduct E-commerce+NFT marketplace … And it will be powered by ROBIN DeFi that brings all the great things we love about DeFi into a “traditional” e-commerce biz

Q7: Exploring your site I notice that #ROBIN has a new feature called “Snap it E-Commerce”, So please tell us more about it? What is it about and what is it’s main function within the platform? And How can users use it and what are the benefits of this?

YP: Snapit! E-commerce is our patented auto yield farming that allow user to farm with real world products, we have a special formula that help merchant and user.

For example: 1 product of Apple with 1 qty of Apple worth $100 system will allow maximum of 3 user to snap. 1 user get the product the other 2 user that don’t get the product gets 3%-6% of profit of the product value as a reward

Not just that user that got the product is able to resell in the platform with price increase and if the user fails to sell more than 3 times the system will auto force the user to lower down the price making a cut loss mechanism

This automated snap it e-commerce is the same concept for our NfT marketplace

Q8: Which E-commerce companies you are partnered with? Does ROBIN DeFi is for global users or there are country restrictions?

YP: We have currently a few big Brand’s partner awaiting for our beta snap it to be up, the Brand’s are Watson HK, frank muller, Chopard and many more and it does not have country restrictions

Q9: You are aiming to be the leading ROBIN in a new age of Decentralized Finance right? But how could you accomplish this if the whole team of ROBIN is anonymous? Trust is very important, so tell us how could we trust your project and how can you ensure us that we are safe here?

YP: In the crypto world, most crypto user wish not be KYC, we have created all farming methods to be in smart contract, but our Snapit china and international is own by company registered in China and Singapore ensuring the safety of all crypto user

Q10: With such a product, I am sure a lot of individuals and institutions would want to back you. Can you share some details on the financial backing you have received so far? How have you handled the funds raised? Are you planning to do any future raises?

Dav: Our project currently has been funded privately. All our tech platforms are already built and nearing completion. We are now looking to build and grow our Community and Liquidity pool. Future funding via Venture Funds are already in advanced talks n likely in future stage of IDO.

Q11: I realized that Robin is a mix of different Defi services, that commonly are separated, so your idea of mix services (like NFT funding, low zero Collateralized loans, micro loans, etc) is good, but how do you guarantee that this you will have the same performance like other platforms? Offer too much services don’t affect your general performance?‌‌

YP: Giving you and example if a watch market cost 100k usd, now in snap it it only cost 70k usd will traditionally user come onboard to purchase and resell in our system? We have connected our china fiat market and international crypto market with a middle bridge of OTC to ensure liquidity to the farming of live product and NFT

I believe we are the first in the world that can do farming in NFT marketplace and we are here to set a trend

Q12: Hello…. Lots of solid projects with good token utility and infrastructure but underperforming due to investors dumping after listing on the first exchange. So, How do you prevent early investors from throwing away your tokens? What strategies do you use to make investors believe in the utility of your tokens?

Dav: The utility of ROB Token is in the SNAP (buy) of products on our E-commerce + NFT marketplace … Hence it is used daily for real purchases … And in the SNAP process u will get rewards which is Yield

Q14: What do you do to make Robin DeFi revenue? Tell me What strategy / model is it? How profitable?

Dav: Our revenue comes from :
RobinSwap — full SWAP capabilities
SNAP IT E-commerce + NFT marketplace transactions
We make platform fees

Q15: hlw sir What is PROJECT’s revenue model? In which ways do you generate revenue/profit????

YP: We generate revenue from the profit margin of each trade of product in Snapit e-commerce and NfT marketplace platform take 15% of the profit margin

Example: product cost to platform $80

Product selling price to user: $100

Price difference:$20

15% of $20 goes to platform as fees
15% of $20 goes back to merchant or user that sell the product

70% of $20 is divide among the amount of user that can’t snap the product as reward

Q16: How do you plan to spread awareness about your project in different countries/regions where English is not spoken well? Do you have local communities for them to let them better understand about your project?

Dav: At the moment we have Chinese as we are launching in China … And English for the international markets launching via Singapore … For support in other languages it will be expanded in phases as we build communities in each specific country

Q17: Could you tell whаt is the progress of development аnd if you have some serious pаrtnerships?

Dav: We are currently at the development of rushing all feature in our website:

1st to be launch: exchange, liquidity, snap it e-commerce, NFT marketplace
Then lottery / gaming

As we are a big group of blockchain programmer and tech personnel and also with a professional biz advisor we are onboarding and launching faster than we can IDO

Q18: How do you plan on getting $Robin DeFi adopted and to be put into daily use by the people?

Dav: Besides the usual marketing channels of social media etc … We believe our SNAP process will be a big draw for Users … Currently most E-commerce platforms give u rewards of u BUY a product , we give rewards even if u do not buy a product

Q19: Can you explain How is your Tokenomics Distribution? How many tokens Will be minted ? And How many tokens Will be locked by the team?

YP: Total 90million token will be minted and 63% of 90million will be for mining (proof of trade) to encourage more merchant onboard with better margin product

Q20: At this point, do you think you need exchange as a resource to keep growing? Or better yet, forget those things and focus on other activities. Corona virus is spreading all over the world. If in the future, the whole team is infected with Corona virus, what will the project be like? Who will lead the project?

Dav: With the thoughts of covid virus,

Indeed our India team was affected but we also have added office in China to have more backup engineers to be ready for any serious virus spreading

As the company we have deploy our tech guys in different country to lower down the risk

Q21: What is the main focus of $ROBIN at the moment? Who is your target market? Do you provide your service or product globally or do you have a focus on a specific area?

Dav: We are launching in CN in China , which is the world’s most exciting and progressive E-commerce market … As well as in ENG via Singapore which will be our springboard to the rest of SEA and beyond

Q22: Are there plans to incorporate NFTs into your ecosystem? What are the usecases of your native platform token?

Dav: Yes NFTs are a part of our E-commerce Marketplace for both trading as well as minting. ROB Token is our Liquidity n used for every transaction on our E-commerce platform.

Q23: With Staking investors get passive income from it, so what are the Staking Pool pairs in ROBIN? What makes your Staking ecosystem more attractive to investors & Staking ecosystem connoisseurs like me?

YP: Our staking model is different from the rest of the defi outside, our staking model allow you to choose your rewards in busdt, busd, dai or our native token
Which will help the token price been dump.

Merchant give up their margin to allow the profit of the margin to be shared instead of we giving out too many Rob token which will harm the token price

Q24: I would like to have a long term investment with your project but at the moment I have doubts, how can you convince and convince me that this project is very promising?

YP: Firstly our project is promising because we have big brand coming into our commercial running biz of e-commerce and also we have big famous artist joining us when our NFT is launched,

Robin defi is a pillar for snap it, and snap it alone is already a viable running biz especially we have a upper hand to be able to launch in china with ICP license

Q25: Many investors only care about the value of the coin. However, when most projects start listing, the value often drops seriously. Investors often have to discharge losses and suffer heavy losses. So you how do you prepare for this situation? What benefits will investors get when holding?

YP: Good question! For investor for our Rob token robin defi have much more focus to allow investor to take more serious action to our farming with snap it! Because this will allow user to be able to earn faster and better with lower risk, which defi can ensure the token price will always be high?

We focus on generating the APY and allow the platform to built up the use case and therefore causing the toke price to be more stable and have more liquidity

Q26: 🧨 I read that Robin will have a new feature called “Snap it E-Commerce”, can you tell us more about it? What is it about and what is it’s main function within the platform? How can people use it and what are the advantages of doing so?

🧨 Thanks to the market volatility, projects have canceled their Public/Private Sales. However, while looking for information about this on Robin’s website I couldn’t find anything. So, do you have plans on having a public/private sale soon? Can you give us more details about it?

Dav: SNAP IT is a very unique feature on our E-commeece platform … It allows Users to gain rewrads just by participating in our SNAP (buy) of products. Most E-Commeece platforms give u rewards only when u BUY a product, we give rewards also when u do not make a purchase. So we spend less on marketing budget n give back more rewards to our Community. SNAP IT allows 3 Users to snap for 1 product and has an algorithm that selects only 1 “winner” of each SNAP(buy). The winner gets the product and the other 2 who missed the SNAP gets rewards of 3% of product value.

Q27: I read that Robin allows users to stake into transactions of real-world products via your E-commerce. Can you tell us more about this? How do you make this possible and what are the requirements for doing so? What kind of real-world products are allow on this process?

YP: We have a smart contract enabled in robin defi connecting to our liquidity pool, whenever a user stake their Rob token to be connected to our auto AI snapping bot, the bot will base on the user parameters to look out for products and try to snap up products and if the bot do not get the products the users earn 3%-6% of APY of the product value

Like I have said earlier our AI bot and snap it platform we have a cut loss mechanism inbuilt for user who got lucky and got the product he / she is able to resell and at certain time the bot will reduce the product value and cut loss and recover the initial staking amount as near as possible

We are the first Defi project that have a trading bot link to a live e-commerce platform with a smart contract recording all purchase and you can login personally to our snap it platform as well to see what the bot have purchase as well

Q29: We are all unhappy as there has been a bear season in all markets lately. Are you afraid of negative effects as ROBIN if this bear season is extended?

YP: We are not afraid of the bear season, we are a defi project that fully enabled traditional markets user and crypto user to gain APY from fiat market or crypto market this enabled us to be more safe even in the bear market

Q30: I noticed you already have a working product, can you please comment on how secure your protocol is, do you have plans of performing any security audits?

YP: Yes we have already engage certik to audit our blockchain smart contract and our snapit platform

Q31: I read that Robin allows users to stake into transactions of real-world products via your E-commerce. Can you tell us more about this? How do you make this possible and what are the requirements for doing so? What kind of real-world products are allow on this process?

Dav: That’s right, via Robin DeFi, it powers our E-commerce SNAP IT platform and generates Yield by sharing the profit from each transaction and also mining via Proof of Trade.
Our E-commerce platform will have both real world products (Eg. Watson’s is already an onboarded merchant) as well as NFT marketplace.

Q32: Can you tell us about the main target $ROBIN is currently focusing on and the market you are trying to reach? Are you going to make the Robin project an expanding project on a global scale or will you be active only in certain regions for now?

Dav: We are launching in CN in China , the world most exciting and progressive E-commerce market . We also also launching ENG for international markets via Singapore … More countries will come on board as we start building communities in each country

Q33: i saw a referral section in your website, do this mean we can earn rewards or points for every users or sellers that we intro into Defi Robin platform?
