Jack| Shin Chan: Before AMA start, can you introduce yourselves and the team background?
Charles : Sure. This is Charles ,co-founder of shield. Before I start shield，I was a continuous entrepreneur in FIntech industry and the founding member of MEITUAN，which is a listed company，and the largest O2O company in the world. My partner who‘s name is Lucas. Years of digital asset contract design and 10 years of market making, hedging and quantification experience Postdoctoral and Associate Professor of Financial Engineering from the top university and we have nearly 10 talented colleagues from the top financial and TMT company.
Jack| Shin Chan: Do you have any news/update about Shield DAO would like to share with us?
Charles : Yes， we will close our private round with several great fund like hashkey、OKEX、YOUBI、moonwhale and so on and the ITO will be launched soon around 26th this month in our official Twitter.

Q1 : Could you please tell me just a little more about the team and some of their backgrounds? I have personally seen many projects launch with inexperienced team members, and some of those didn’t go so well due to easily avoidable mistakes.
Charles : yeap I think I have answered this question. let me make some additions： Lucas and I have run a centralized derivatives exchange during 2019–2020 in Southeast Asia. I am the fan of Malaysia.
We also have a outstanding global marketing team. so I think shield would not miss the next big thing in defi，which is decentralized derivatives exchange opportunity.
Q2 : For Adoption, the contribution of partnerships is considered to be very important. So, what kind of partnership strategy have you set up so that your project and token can achieve adequate adoption?
Charles : we have nearl 10 great investors，20+ global communities，and several defi alliance such like 1inch / chainlink /Synthetix / dhedge and we have a great partner mask network，in which we will launch our derivatives service on also we have very good connection with OKEX/ binance/ huobi / bithumb.
Q3 : What is total supply ? Are your plans to focus on market or to grow community?
Charles : A fix supply of 1 billion in total. We do have go-to-market strategy to get users and liquidity.
First of all ，Product-oriented
Risk-free perpetual not only significantly decreases retail traders’ without potential downside risk on-chain, but also satisfies the non-custodial, permissionless and auditable features of decentralized derivatives on this DeFi boom. This unique selling point will attract end users in crypto and stay addictive to Shield once they try.
Second，Decentralized brokerage system and global KOL strategy
Shield is the first dex to implement a brokerage system in a fully trustless environment. Brokers can earn up to 40%-100% commission rate on Shield, which is way higher than CEX and are allowed to claim and check the rewards anytime. And Shield will always capture new users with global KOL strategy and connections.We have partnered with global KOLs and trader communities now, including Russia, Turkey, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, etc.
Q4 : How was the idea to create this project born? It is very interesting. What do you want to prove? What are your expectations?
Charles : hield was born because of we think perpetual has a huge problem：Most people lose money because their positions be force liquidationed and shield never have the problem. We are risk-free perpetual without position loss.

Q6 : Shield dao is useing right now on the Ethereum Network, but considering the huge transactions fees of this chain, have you considered integrate more types of chains to avoid this intrinsic limitation?
Charles : Shield will have the BSC version soon and the layer2 solution in long term.
Q7 : I think, inactive and useless states is one of the biggest problems with DApps. Most people just create DApps but they has no contributions to the blockchain ecosystem.
So, what will your team do to prevent and resolve this problem from occurring on the Shield DAO ?
Charles : Decentralized derivatives exchange is next big thing , it is a obvious issue.
Q8 : Your project is very important but it needs a large user traffic to be sustainable over time. What marketing strategies do you have planned to increase the validity of your brand?Are you planning a strategic partnership to level up your project?
Charles : Broker system is the key to get user traffic. it has been proved.
Q9 : As many projects grow and grow, they offer new features to their users and investors in different areas. Will Shield DAO periodically make new updates to keep its investors making long-term investments?
Charles : yes. risk-free perpetual is the first product we developed. we also have the plan to develop standard perpetual，structure product and so on. all these product will using the same token SLD.
Q10 : 🌼 How do you guarantee 100% Hedging of the position against price decline, could you explain this?
