We held a live AMA with CEO of SolPixel, Naree Kim on 16th July 10:00 PM (UTC+8). Here’s the recap for those who missed it.

Introduction

Serene: Before AMA start, can you introduce yourselves and the team background?

Naree Kim: I am Naree, CEO of SolPIxel. SolPixel is being developed by a team with high experience in content distribution, marketing, blockchain technology. We are building a decentralized NFT marketplace powered on the Solana blockchain.

Serene: Any latest/ update news about SolPixel you would like to share with our community?😀

Naree Kim: We are soon to be launching our platform, which we are very excited about. It is planned to launch in August.

AMA Twitter Section Begin:

Q1: Artists always want to protect their art from plagiarism, so what kind of copyright protection will you have on SolPixel? Will you have any kind of AI recognition system to detect stolen art? Also, will the art created on SolPixel have protection outside your platform as well?

Naree Kim: In Q4 of 2021, we are planning to implement AI technology to analyze artworks by its metadata to ensure that it is not a stolen art work. Protecting artists is key priority for us.

Q2: You comment on your website that with SolPixel we will be able to issue NFTs on different blockchains because of the cross-chain functionality. Can you tell us for which networks this service will be initially enabled? Which others do you plan to continue incorporating?

Naree Kim: Ethereum, BSC, and Solana will be the initial networks implemented on the marketplace. We will continue to incorporate as many blockchains possible.

Q3: Nearly 80% of investors only focus on short-term token price instead of understanding the real value of the project. Can you tell us the motivations and benefits for investors to hold your tokens in the long term?

Naree Kim: Our tokenomics is designed to support both. With a small marketcap and potential for more token utility, different types of investors can be benefiting from holding the token.

Q4: We are witness of more than 100 daily NFT projects. Alot of traffic is here. Investors are confused which we need to invest. So, tell us how your project is different and unique from others?

Naree Kim: Each project has its benefits and strengths. Users should always DYOR before selecting and supporting a project. SolPixel is different because we are a crosschain marketplace with much more being prepared for the ecosystem.

Q5: Why you select SOLANA platform for your project ?

Naree Kim: Solana has a very strong ecosystem with great technological benefits. However, as a crosschain platform we are not bound by a blockchain.

Telegram Live AMA Begin:

Q6: What is the mission and vision of Solpixel? Could you please share it with us?

Naree Kim: Our vision is to allow for as many artists to easily convert their digital content into NFTs. Each content work takes a lot of time and effort for creators to create. These work should be valued on its uniqueness and create value for fans and creators.

Q7: -Is your project a local or global project??”
-How many communites, do you have for non-english users?

Naree Kim: In later phases of the development, we will plan to implement decentralized governance for improvements of the platform through implementing DAO structures.

Q8: Are your team public or anon? How about security for your platform, do you already audit for smart contract?

Naree Kim: Our team is public. We will ensure security of the platform through smart contact audits prior to the launch.

Q9: Q. How easy is it for artists to mint their NFT on SolPixel? Will they need to be expertise in blockchain before they could do that and will you support cross-chain?

Naree Kim: No, this will be a coding-agnostic platform where users are able to create NFTs without prior knowledge of coding and blockchain.

Q10: I’ve seen there are 26% Mining & Staking rewards on your tokenomics which is really great. What is the yielding and staking APR’s?

Naree Kim: Staking programs are not yet live for the platform. This is to be launched in the later phase.

Q11: I could see that the total supply of the token is set at 500 million tokens. Isn’t this quite much? What mechanism have you put in place to help make it worth holding for long term purpose? Will there be a burning program or buyback event to help make the supply reduce drastically?

Naree Kim: We are also implementing a buyback and burn mechanism. Compared to other NFT projects, this is actually not the case for SolPixel.
