We held a live AMA with CMO, Charu Sethi from Unique Network on Tuesday, 2nd November at 9:00 PM (UTC+8). Here’s the recap for those who missed it.

Mika | Shin Chan: Before AMA start, can you introduce yourselves and the team background?
Charu Sethi: I am Charu , the Chief Marketing Officer for Unique Network. I have over 13 years experience in tech marketing, with 3 years of experience in the blockchain industry. I have worked for companies like IBM, helping build out their blockchain adoption marketing. I joined Unique Network in May and I am super excited to be a part of the team. Together we are building an amazing ecosystem that will be the leading force behind the next generation of NFTs!
Unique Network is the infrastructure for the next generation of NFTs.
We are a scalable blockchain for composable NFTs with advanced economies — The NFT chain built for Polkadot and Kusama.
What does this mean!? :)
With Unique, creators and builders have the freedom to design their own NFT experiences with flexible economic models and features like NFT to NFT interactivity. The NFT chain for Kusama and Polkadot, it offers builders freedom from network-wide transaction fees and a slow upgrade process.
The CEO and co-founder Alex has been working in tech and IT for over 20 years, He built Luxoft.com from a little under 30 employees to over 2000 employees.
Our Chief Architect and CTO Greg Zaitsev, has over a decade of experience as an Enterprise Architect and an equally deep background in blockchain.
Mika | Shin Chan: Do u have any upcoming news or events that the community need to keep an eye on?
Charu Sethi: oh Yes!
The biggest event, which is live right now is our Quartz Crowdloan.
Quartz is the canary network to Unique , like Kusama is to Polkadot.
The Quartz Crowdloan is live at the moment and teh community here has an opportunity to participate. as there are high rewards for early participation!
Once we get a parachain slot on Kusama, we will bring the most powerful and advanced NFT features on to the Kusama network.
we are very excited for that!
Then the next step will be to get the parachain slot on the Polkadot network
I would also like to highlight that our own Blockchain has been live and working since August 2020 when Unique Network won the Kusama Hackathon — Hackusama!
As a result we have lots of projects building on our platform and you would have seen the recent announcements on Foreever has Fallen, ArtPool, DigitalArt4Climate etc!

Q1: #UniqueNFTchain is the next-generation NFT Chain for Kusama and Polkadot. So may we know why #Kusama & #Polkadot, what are the benefits and advantages these two chains will provide to UniqueNetwork and its community?
Charu Sethi: Well first of all Polkadot and Kusama are proof-of-stake, which means scalability and sustainability is built into its design from get-go.
And then these are are substrate based chains. Substrate is an extremely powerful and flexible blockchain framework. Substrate has allowed to create some of the most advanced and powerful NFT features.
Then Polkadot is really the blockchain of blockchains. We all know that a multi-chain future is coming . Only blockchains that are designed to interact with other blockchains will survive and grow.
Lastly we believe in the power of web 3.0 . Those are just some of the reasons :)
Q2: I read UniqueNetwork will provide an NFT platform for the United Nations climate program, and host the DigitalArt4Climate NFT marketplace for artists & web designers. So how do you attract young artists, artists and web designers to join and use UniqueNetwork’s powerful features?
Charu Sethi: Digital Art4Climate is aligned with the United Nations’ declaration of 2021 as the year of ’The Creative Economy for Sustainable Development,’ which highlights the value of creativity as a uniquely powerful resource in implementing and achieving the U.N.’s sustainable development goals. In partnership with UN-Habitat and Glocha we launched DigitalArt4Climate art competition and reached out to young artists across the globe. UN-Habitat has a huge focus on the development of youth
We recently closed a very successful Art competition with 204 young artists from 57 countries. We are very excited to make more announcements on that .
Regarding the Designathon which we launched in July , where we welcomed a group of competing designers to lend their talents to this exciting initiative that merges the world of blockchain-based NFT art and climate change awareness and action.
They were all young web developers and UX/UI designers with not much previous experience in blockchain. Yet our tools allowed them to create a NFT marketplace for Digital Art4Climate .
This was a very enriching experience for them and a great experience for us as well!
Our tools are designed to address the access problem. For mainstream adoption to become a reality , we need to hide blockchain under the hood — and thats what we are doing :)

Q3: I learned that with Unique Network Anyone can build their own NFT project. Are there any special ethics to be followed by those wishing to build their own NFT project? Or are they free to act as they please?
Charu Sethi: Well, we are a blockchain and have open source tools ! anyone can use our tools and build what they like .
However, if you have looked at the Utility of our Quartz token — you will see something about App Promotion Staking. App promotion program is designed in a way that your project /dApp will survive and grow based how well you are doing and the support you receive from the community. Any wrongful behaviour will be checked right there by the community :)
Q4: You say that Unique Network will have some “freemium games”, but could you really tell us a little about the characteristics of these games? Will they be, as their name say, free access and completely zero fees?
Charu Sethi: We believe Freemium Gaming is the key to deliver successful Blockchain games. Our substrate based advanced features like scheduling transactions, sponsorship of fees will empower blockchain games in a way that was not possible before. Sponsorship of fee along with the app promotion program will help gaming developers onboard their game fans and keep them long enough till they are successful.
We have recently a partnership with an interesting game- Forever Has Fallen — a new form of entertainment that combines storytelling with interactive gameplay, will use our technology to add a new element to their ongoing series in the form of an NFT drop and collection.

Q5: As I read, you just opened the application of Unique Networks Ambassador Program. Can you tell us does this ambassador program is open for everyone? What do we need in able to join? And can you tell what is the benefits of being one of your Ambassador?
Charu Sethi: Absolutely! The Unique Network Ambassador Program is designed to build a community of true supporter and believers in the project. We kicked off our first on-boarding call and were overwhelmed by the number of applications !
This is an opportunity for you to get deeply integrated into the DNA of Unique Network’s platform and the growth journey. You an be a developer or have expertise in writing content, creating videos, graphics etc.! Any skill that you think can help contribute to the growth of Unique Network, pls do come forward and join the program!

Q6: Could you tell us a little about “Chelobricks”? How useful is this type of asset really in your ecosystem? And also why reward only the first 100 KSM toke stakers with them?
Charu Sethi: Chelobricks are a series of 10,000 unique NFTs. These were created for Polkadot Decoded that was held in May 2020. We initially airdropped for the live audience of the event and the we saw 8500 of those claimed in less than 20 hours!

The early rewards of Chelobricks were for people who contributed over 10 KSM towards the crowdloan.

Q7: Can I be Fully Customized with NFT? Like Galleries, Markets, Printing and wallets I mean. And how do I build my own market and what solutions do you offer?
Charu Sethi: Yes! indeed you can. Pls access our GitHub and all tools and docs are there. Recently our CTO Greg Zaitsev showcased how to build a NFT marketplace in less than an hour! and you dont need to be a Blockchain pro :)
Q8: WHAT IF BEAR MARKET COMES! could your token be DUMPed? Do you have any plans for this bear market? And How will you handle panic selling?
Charu Sethi: Token price is not for us to worry. That is driven by market sentiment. We are focused on creating and building meaningful projects on our platform. We have spoken to over 100 projects and that is our focus for growth
Q9: One of the most important reasons for the slow adoption of such projects is the lack of the right partnerships. Does Unique cooperate with major industry partners? Tell us more about your partner, backer?
Charu Sethi: Recently we announced teh closure of pre-sale and in total we have raised $16 million. We are backed by Investors like Ourlier Ventures, Animoca Brands, LAO , Master Ventures, Flamingo and many more!
On top of that we have large exciting partnerships and projects building !
Q10: 🌑 I’ve read that Quartz supports all of the advanced features like reinterchangeability and nested NFTs. So what is this reinterchangeability and nested NFTs?
🌑 Where do we view the estimated number of QTZ tokens we will receive for the KSM we plan to bind? What is your total supply of QTZ to distribute?
Charu Sethi: NFT to NFT interactivity is really NFTs that can interact with each other, send an emoticon to another NFT, own or share another NFT, combine them or break them down. Lots of possibilities. ANd this is important because we are building UNique Network for use cases beyond just digital collectibles :)

Q11: Accessibility, affordability, and efficiency.
How does all part of these become the experience of Quartz?
Charu Sethi: Quartz is accesible because you dont need deep Blockchain expertise to create a NFT Marketplace. Any frontend developer, UX/UI designer and create one using our tools!
We are affordable because we offer feeless minting ! And efficient because we are proof-of-stake based chain!
Q12: We all know the importance of local communities for the full understanding of the potential of the projects. Does Unique Network have local communities in countries such as Turkey, Russia, India, etc. so that it can become a global brand? If so, can you share your communities’ social media links?
Charu Sethi: Yes, Korea, China, Turkey and Russia are some of our regional communities! :)
Q13: I caught my attention that one of Unique Network’s missions was “composable NFTs with advanced economies”, can you tell us more about this? What are your plans to achieve this goal? How can Unique Network composable NFTs with advanced economies?
Charu Sethi: Since we are substrate based, we can offer a host of advanced features to NFT marketplaces and ecosystems built on Unique . Flexible economic models allows brands and creators to design revenue streams the way it works for their fans or customers
Composable NFTs are a big part of how NFTs will interact with each other, which i covered earlier
